CENTRAL BANK OF IRELAND (FORM OF STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1957.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 35 of the Currency Act, of 1927 (No. 32 of 1927), as adapted by section 11 of the Central Bank Act, 1942 (No. 22 of 1942), and after consultation with the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Ireland, hereby make the following regulations :

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1957.

2. The form of balance sheet set out in the Schedule to these Regulations is hereby substituted for that set out under the heading " B—Balance Sheet " in Part I of the Schedule to the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 ( S. R. & O. No. 94 of 1943 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These amending Regulations substitute a revised form of Balance Sheet in respect of the Legal Tender Note Fund in the Statement of Accounts required by statute to be furnished to the Comptroller and Auditor General by the Central Bank of Ireland.
