EMERGENCY POWERS (NO. 301) ORDER, 1943 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 4 of the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 301) Order, 1943 (Revocation) Order, 1957.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 301) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 416 of 1943), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This instrument revokes the Order which provided for the payment of compensation for land acquired under Article 38 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939.
