PIGS AND BACON (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1956 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1956.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 37 of 1956), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1956 (Commencement) Order, 1956.

2. The Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 37 of 1956), shall come into operation on the 17th day of December, 1956.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation with effect as from 17th December, 1956, the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1956 .
