DISTRICT COURT (NEW AREAS) ORDER, 1927 (VARIATION No. 169) ORDER, 1956.

I, JAMES EVERETT, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 47 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and of section 11 of the Court Officers Act, 1945 (No. 25 of 1945), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 169) Order, 1956.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 14th day of December, 1956.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The place for holding the District Court for the purposes of civil proceedings and cases of summary jurisdiction in the District Court Area of Ballyforan in the County of Roscommon shall be Ballyforan.

4. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated before the date on which this Order comes into operation and is not completed before that date shall be continued and completed at Ballyforan.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to change the place for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Ballyforan from Dysart to Ballyforan.
