CREAMERY BUTTER (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1949 (PARTIAL REVOCATION) ORDER, 1956.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 31 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Creamery Butter (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1949 (Partial Revocation) Order, 1956.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1956.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Creamery Butter (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1949 ( S.I. No. 176 of 1949 ), is hereby revoked in respect of creamery butter exported by parcel post.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to remove the prohibition on the export of creamery butter by parcel post and licences for such exports are, therefore, no longer necessary.
