SMALL PUBLIC SERVICE VEHICLES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1956.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 (No. 11 of 1933) and of all other powers enabling him hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1. Article 28 of the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 (S.R. and O., 1936 No. 269) is hereby revoked.

2.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Small Public Service Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations, 1956.

(2) These Regulations and the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 may be cited collectively as the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 and 1956.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order revokes article 28 of the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936, which requires every taxi to have a solid partition dividing the driver's seat from the rear compartment.
