SMALL PUBLIC SERVICE VEHICLES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1956. |

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 (No. 11 of 1933) and of all other powers enabling him hereby makes the following Regulations :— |

1. Article 28 of the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 (S.R. and O., 1936 No. 269) is hereby revoked. |
||
|
2.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Small Public Service Vehicles (Amendment) Regulations, 1956. |
||
|
(2) These Regulations and the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 may be cited collectively as the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936 and 1956. |
||
|

EXPLANATORY NOTE. |
||
|
This Order revokes article 28 of the Small Public Service Vehicles Regulations, 1936, which requires every taxi to have a solid partition dividing the driver's seat from the rear compartment. |
