MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1956 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1956.

The Government, in excercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (Appointed Day) Order, 1956.

2. The 2nd day of July, 1956, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order appoints the 2nd day of July, 1956, as the day on which the Department of the Gaeltacht shall stand established.
