GENERAL INSTITUTIONAL AND SPECIALIST SERVICES (INSURED PERSONS) ORDER, 1956.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 15 and 25 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953), as amended by the Health Act, 1954 (No. 23 of 1954), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This order may be cited as the General Institutional and Specialist Services (Insured Persons) Order, 1956.

2. The date for the fixing of which provision was made in subsection (3) of section 15 of the Health Act, 1953 , as amended by section 1 of the Health Act, 1954 (being the date to which the provision in that section under which charges may not be made for institutional services for certain persons insured under the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952) shall operate) shall be the 31st day of March, 1956.

3. The date for the fixing of which provision was made in each of subsections (2) to (6) of section 25 of the Health Act, 1953 , as amended by section 3 of the Health Act, 1954 (being the date to which the provisions in those subsections for the deduction of a sum of six shillings a day from payments made thereunder will not operate in respect of certain persons insured under the Social Welfare Act, 1952 ) shall be the 31st day of March, 1956.
