EMERGENCY IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (No. 376) (MISCELLANEOUS REVOCATIONS) ORDER, 1956.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Emergency Imposition of Duties Act, 1932 (No. 16 of 1932) as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 376) (Miscellaneous Revocations) Order, 1956.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of March, 1956.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3.—(1) The Orders mentioned in the third column of the Schedule to this Order are hereby revoked.

(2) The particulars stated in the second and fourth columns, respectively, of the Schedule to this Order in relation to the Orders mentioned in the third column of the said Schedule are inserted in the said Schedule solely to facilitate reference to and identification of the said Orders, and, accordingly nothing contained in the said second column or the said fourth column shall affect the construction of or limit or control the operation of this paragraph and the third column of the said Schedule.
