SOCIAL WELFARE (UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) (TRANSITIONAL) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS, 1955.

I, BRENDAN CORISH, Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 66 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952), and with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations :

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Welfare (Unemployment Benefit and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Transitional) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1955.

2. Article 6 of the Social Welfare (Unemployment Benefit and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Transitional) Regulations, 1953 ( S.I. No. 2 of 1953 ), as amended by the Social Welfare (Unemployment Benefit and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Transitional) (Amendment) Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 124 of 1954 ), the Social Welfare (Unemployment Benefit and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Transitional) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1954 ( S.I. No. 265 of 1954 ), and the Social Welfare (Unemployment Benefit and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Transitional) (Amendment) Regulations, 1955 ( S.I. No. 92 of 1955 ), is hereby further amended by the substitution, in both paragraph (a) and paragraph (b), of " the 3rd day of June, 1956 " for " the 4th day of December, 1955 ".
