EXCHANGE CONTROL (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1955.

I, GERARD SWEETMAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Exchange Control Act, 1954 (No. 30 of 1954), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Exchange Control (Commencement) Order, 1955.

2. The 1st day of July, 1955, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Exchange Control Act, 1954 (No. 30 of 1954), other than section 14 and subsection (1) of section 15 thereof, shall come into operation.
