NIGHT WORK (BAKERIES) (EXCEPTIONAL WORK) ORDER, 1955.

I, WILLIAM NORTON, Minister for Industry and Commerce in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of Section 5 of the Night Work (Bakeries) Act, 1936 (No. 42 of 1936), and after consultation with representatives of employers and representatives of workers interested in bakeries, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Night Work (Bakeries) (Exceptional Work) Order, 1955.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 30th, day of May, 1955.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this. Order.

4. Each process of manufacture specified in the Schedule hereto done in any bakery to which the Act applies shall be exceptional work.

5. The Night Work (Bakeries) (Exceptional Work) Order, 1937 ( S. R. & O. No. 7 of 1937 ), is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

Flour-blending ; doughmaking ; spongemaking ; and, when carried on in the County Borough or County of Dublin, the clearing of provers and ovens.
