SOUTH CORK BOARD OF PUBLIC ASSISTANCE (HEALTH FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1955.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 45 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the South Cork Board of Public Assistance (Health Functions) Order, 1955.

2. In this Order :—

"the Board" means the Board of Public Assistance for the South Cork Public Assistance District ;

"the Corporation of Cork" means the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Cork ;

"the Principal Order" means the South Cork Board of Public Assistance (Health Functions) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 163 of 1954 ).

3. The money required to meet the expenses of the Board in performing functions in accordance with the provisions of the Principal Order shall, at such times as shall be agreed upon between the Board and the health authorities, or in default of agreement, as may be determined by the Minister, be supplied to the Board by the Corporation of Cork and the Council of the County of Cork rateably in proportion to the totals of the valuations appearing in the valuation lists for the time being in force under the Valuation Acts of the rateable property in the respective portions of the South Cork Public Assistance District situate in the county borough of Cork and the county of Cork respectively.
