LEGITIMACY ACT (ALTERATION OF REGISTRATION FEE) REGULATIONS, 1954.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers vested in him by paragraphs (1) and (5) of the Schedule to the Legitimacy Act, 1931 (No. 13 of 1931), hereby makes the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Legitimacy Act (Alteration of Registration Fee) Regulations, 1954.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1954.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

4. Article 13 of the Legitimacy (Registration of Births) Regulations, 1934, is hereby amended by the substitution of " six shillings and sixpence " for " five shillings."
