DUBLIN COUNTY BOROUGH (ELECTORAL AREAS) ORDER, 1954.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 3 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 (No. 8 of 1945) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Dublin County Borough (Electoral Areas) Order, 1954.

2. The County Borough of Dublin shall be divided into the nine electoral areas described in the Schedule to this Order.

3. The number of members of the city council to be elected for each electoral area shall be five.

4. The Dublin County Borough (Electoral Areas) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 133 of 1953 ) is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE.

ELECTORAL AREAS IN THE COUNTY BOROUGH OF DUBLIN.

1. Electoral Area Number One shall consist of the Artane, Baldoyle, Beann Eadair, Clontarf East, Clontarf West, Coolock, Drumcondra North, Raheny and Santry Wards.

2. Electoral Area Number Two shall consist of the Ballybough, Drumcondra South, Mountjoy and North Dock Wards.

3. Electoral Area Number Three shall consist of the Finglas East, Finglas West, Glasnevin, Inns Quay and Rotunda Wards.

4. Electoral Area Number Four shall consist of the Arran Quay, Cabragh East, Cabragh West and Phoenix Park Wards.

5. Electoral Area Number Five shall consist of the Ballyfermot, Crumlin and Kilmainham Wards.

6. Electoral Area Number Six shall consist of the Merchants' Quay, St. Kevin's, Usher's and Wood Quay Wards.

7. Electoral Area Number Seven shall consist of the Crumlin West, Kimmage, Rathfarnham, Rathfarnham South, Rathmines West and Terenure Wards.

8. Electoral Area Number Eight shall consist of the Pembroke East, Pembroke West and Rathmines East Wards.

9. Electoral Area Number Nine shall consist of the Mansion House, North City, Royal Exchange and South Dock Wards.
