SHELLFISH (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1953.

I, GEARÓID MAC PHARTHALÁIN, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), and the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 292 of 1951 ), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Shellfish (Regulation of Export) Order, 1953.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1953.

3. The export of shellfish otherwise than to Great Britain and Northern Ireland save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), is hereby prohibited.
