EMERGENCY POWERS (Nos. 192 AND 320) ORDERS (TERMINATION OF SUSPENSION OF CUSTOMS DUTIES ON MOTOR CAR TYRES) ORDER, 1953.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Nos. 192 and 320) Orders (Termination of Suspension of Customs Duties on Motor Car Tyres) Order, 1953.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 192) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 256 of 1942), is hereby revoked as respects articles imported on or after the 27th day of March, 1953.

3. The Emergency Powers (No. 320) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 156 of 1944), shall, in so far as it suspends a duty of customs on articles mentioned at reference number 18 in the First Schedule to that Order, cease to have effect as respects articles imported on or after the 27th day of March, 1953.
