LEVY (BUTTER STOCKS) (NO. 3) ORDER, 1953.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 9 of 1941), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Levy (Butter Stocks) (No. 3) Order, 1953.

2. In this Order " registered proprietor " and " butter trader " have the meanings respectively assigned to them by subsection (1) of section 4 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 9 of 1941).

3. The 1st day of March, 1953, is hereby appointed to be the appointed date for the purposes of this Order.

4. There shall be paid to the Minister for Agriculture by every registered proprietor and every butter trader who holds or on whose behalf there is held anywhere on the appointed date not less than three hundredweight of non-creamery butter (being imported butter) a levy at the rate of thirty-seven shillings and four pence the hundredweight.
