CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 13) (ARTIFICIAL SILK PIECE GOODS AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1953.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Artificial Silk Piece Goods Amendment) Order, 1953.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 29th day of January, 1953.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. Part I (inserted by the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Artificial Silk Piece Goods Amendment) Order, 1952 ( S.I. No. 145 of 1952 )) of the Schedule to the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935, ( S. R. & O. No. 59 of 1935 ), is hereby amended by the substitution in subparagraph (a) of paragraph (ii) of "eighteen inches or less" for "less than thirty seven inches."
