HAIRDRESSING SHOPS (SUNDAY TRADING) (DUBLIN CITY) ORDER, 1953.

I, SEAN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 34 of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act, 1938 (No. 3 of 1938), and after due compliance with subsection (1) of section 4 of the Act, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Hairdressing Shops (Sunday Trading) (Dublin City) Order, 1953.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 8th day of February, 1953.

2. In this Order, the expression " hairdressing shop " means any shop in which the business of a barber or hairdresser is carried on.

3. The county borough of Dublin shall be a trading area for the purposes of this Order.

4. It shall not be lawful for the proprietor of any hairdressing shop situate in the trading area to which this Order applies to open or keep open such shop for the serving of customers on any Sunday before the hour of 9 a.m. or after the hour of 10 a.m.
