RETURNING OFFICERS' (BOROUGH AND COUNTY CONSTITUENCIES) BYE-ELECTION CHARGES ORDER, 1952.

The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (5) of section 25 of the Electoral Act, 1923 (No. 12 of 1923), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1952.

(2) The Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Orders, 1938 and 1948, and this Order may be cited together as the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Orders, 1938 to 1952.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Schedule to the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1938 (S. R. & O., No. 142 of 1938), as amended by the Returning Officers' (Borough and County Constituencies) Bye-Election Charges Order, 1948 ( S.I. No. 416 of 1948 ), is hereby further amended by the substitution in subparagraph (iv) of a reference to £42 for the reference to £35 and of a reference to 12s. for the reference to 10s.
