GARDA SIOCHANA (PROMOTION) REGULATIONS, 1952.

The Minister for Justice, with the approval of the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 14 of the Police Forces Amalgamation Act, 1925 (No. 7 of 1925), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following regulations :

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gárda Siochana (Promotion) Regulations, 1952.

(2) The Gárda Siochana (Promotion) Regulations, 1925 to 1951, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Gárda Siochana (Promotion) Regulations, 1925 to 1952.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. The Regulations mentioned in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby revoked to the extent specified in the second column of the said Schedule.
