EMERGENCY POWERS (CONTROL OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1940 (AMENDMENT) (No. 35) ORDER, 1952.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S.R. & O., No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S.R. & O., No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Service (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Control of Export Order, 1940 (Amendment) (No. 35) Order, 1952.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of January, 1952.

2. The Schedule to the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) Order, 1940 (S.R. & O., No. 149 of 1940), as amended by subsequent orders, is hereby amended by the insertion therein of references to articles of the descriptions specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Abrasives of silicon carbide or boron carbide.

Artificial graphite, amorphous carbon and carbon powder.

Asbestos.

Coke and coke flour derived from petroleum or coal tar pitch.

Crucibles of artificial graphite.

Diamonds for industrial use.

Magnesium silicate (steatite).

Mica slabs, sheets and splittings.

Paper or synthetic film for dielectric use (condenser tissue), coated or uncoated, 0·0015 inch (0·038 mm.) or less in thickness.

Refractory materials and products.

Rubber manufactures as follows :—

Tyres, tyre casings, inner tubes, high pressure rotary drilling hose, meteorological balloons and water lubricated bearings.

Scientific apparatus.

Carbon Black.
