EXCHANGE CONTROL ORDER, 1947 (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) (No. 1) ORDER, 1947 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Exchange Control Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 394 of 1947), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Exchange Control Order, 1947 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 1) Order, 1947 (Amendment) Order, 1952.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-first day of January, 1952.

2. The Exchange Control Order, 1947 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 1) Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 395 of 1947), as amended, is hereby further amended—

(a) by the substitution of the words " bank, stockbroker or solicitor " for the words " bank or stockbroker " in Article 9 ;

(b) by the addition of the words " The United Kingdom of Libya. " to the Third Schedule ;

(c) by the substitution for the matter in the Fourth Schedule of the matter in the Schedule to this Order ;

and the Exchange Control Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 394 of 1947), shall have effect accordingly.

6. Francs of the following territories, viz. :—

Metropolitan France (including Corsica).

The Principality of Monaco.

The French Overseas Departments (Algeria, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Reunion). The Protectorates of Morocco and Tunisia.

French West Africa.

French Equatorial Africa.

The French Trust Territories of Cameroon and Togo.

Madagascar and its dependencies.

Comoro Islands.

St. Pierre and Miquelon.

New Caledonia and its dependencies.

French Establishments in Oceania.

Condominium of the New Hebrides.

7. Francs of the French Somali Coast (Djibouti Francs).

8. Indo-Chinese Piastres.

9. Lebanese Pounds.

10. Luxembourg Francs.

11. Guilders of the Netherlands, Surinam and the Netherlands Antilles.

12. Panamanian Dollars.

13. Philippine Pesos.

14. Pondicherry Rupees.

15. Portuguese Escudos.

16. Swiss Francs.

17. Syrian Pounds.

18. United States Dollars.

19. Uruguayan Pesos.
