DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. FOREIGN PARCEL POST. FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (No. 7) WARRANT, 1951.

Dated : 17th September, 1951.

The Minister for Finance, on representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs testified by his signature hereto, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1951, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Warrant shall be read as one with the Foreign and Colonial Parcel Post Warrant, 1921, hereinafter called " the Principal Warrant ".

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Warrant.

3. Regulation 3 (1) of the Principal Warrant is hereby revoked and the following Regulation is substituted therefor :—

3. (1) There shall be charged and paid on outgoing parcels such rates of postage as from time to time shall be directed by the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs. Provided that such rates shall in no case exceed twenty-five shillings on a parcel not exceeding eleven pounds in weight.

4. The Foreign and Colonial Parcel Post Amendment (No. 5) Warrant, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 185 of 1934 ), is hereby revoked.

5. This Warrant may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 7) Warrant, 1951.
