CORK DISTRICT MILK BOARD (LEVY) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), as amended by the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 11 of 1941), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Cork District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1951.

2. In these Regulations—

the expression " the Act " means the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), as amended by the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941 (No. 11 of 1941) ;

the expression " the Amending Regulations " means the Cork District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1941 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 205 of 1941) ;

the expression " the Board " means the Cork District Milk Board.

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

4. (1) For the purposes of the levy payable to the Board under paragraph (b) of sub-section (1) of section 41 of the act :—

(a) the prescribed sum shall, as respects the month of August, 1951, and each subsequent month, be one-fifth of a penny ;

(b) paragraph (1) of regulation 3 of the Amending Regulations shall, as respects any such month, cease to apply.

(2) For the purposes of the levy payable to the Board under paragraph (b) of sub-section (2) of section 41 of the act :—

(a) the prescribed sum shall, as respects the month of August, 1951, and each subsequent month, be one-fifth of a penny ;

(b) paragraph (2) of regulation 3 of the Amending Regulations shall, as respects any such month, cease to apply.
