COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE (SALARIES OF OFFICERS) REGULATIONS, 1949 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (1) of Section 27 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations :—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1949 (Amendment) Regulations, 1951.

(2) The Principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1949 and 1951.

2. In these Regulations the expression " the Principal Regulations " means the Committees of Agriculture (Salaries of Officers) Regulations, 1949 ( S.I. No. 232 of 1949 ).

3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

4. (a) Where a salary payable under the Principal Regulations is paid at an annual rate, it shall be increased by fifteen per cent. of two hundred pounds thereof and by ten per cent. of the remainder.

(b) Where a salary payable under the Principal Regulations is not paid at an annual rate, it shall be calculated at the anuual rate and increased by fifteen per cent. of two hundred pounds thereof and by ten per cent. of the remainder.
