FLOUR, WHEATENMEAL AND BREAD ORDER, 1949 (SECOND AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1951.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173, Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Flour, Wheatenmeal and Bread Order, 1949 (Second Amendment) Order, 1951.

(2) The citation "the Flour, Wheatenmeal and Bread Orders, 1949 to 1951", shall include this Order.

2. The Flour, Wheatenmeal and Bread Order, 1949 (Amendment) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 124 of 1951 ), is hereby amended:

(a) by the substitution of the following for paragraph (2) of Article 2—

" (2) Article 8 of this Order shall come into operation on the 30th day of June, 1951.

(3) Article 9 of this Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of June, 1951.";

(b) by the deletion of the definition of flour wholesaler in paragraph (1) of Article 3;

(c) by the substitution of the following for paragraph (1) of Article 7—

" (1) Any person who, on the date of the making of this Order, carries on the business of selling flour or wheatenmeal by wholesale, whether he does or does not carry on the business of selling flour or wheatenmeal by retail, and any person who, after that date, proposes to carry on the business of selling flour or wheatenmeal by wholesale and not otherwise may apply to the Minister for a licence (in this Order referred to as a flourwholesaler's licence) authorising him to carry on the business of selling flour or wheatenmeal by wholesale, and every such application shall—

(a) be made in such form as the Minister may require and contain the particulars indicated in the form, and

(b) be sent to the Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Dublin."
