DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. THE FOREIGN POST AMENDMENT (No. 1) WARRANT, 1951.

Dated : 18th January, 1951.

The Minister for Finance, on representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs testified by his signature hereto, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1937, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby by this Warrant orders as follows :—

1 Warrant to be read as one with the Principal Warrant.

1. This Warrant shall be read as one with the Foreign Post Warrant, 1949, hereinafter called " the Principal Warrant ".

2 Rates and conditions of postage.

2. The entries in the First Schedule of the Principal Warrant are hereby revoked and the entries in the First Schedule of this Warant are substituted therefor.

3 Compensation.

3. The entry in the Third Schedule of the Principal Warrant is hereby revoked and the entry in the Second Schedule of this Warrant is substituted therefor.

4 Short Title.

4. This Warrant may be cited as " The Foreign Post Amendment (No. 1) Warrant, 1951 ".

5 Commencement.

5. This Warrant shall come into operation on a date to be prescribed by the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs.
