EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 320) ORDER, 1944 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1950.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 320) Order, 1944 (Amendment) Order, 1950.

2. (1) The Emergency Powers (No. 320) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 156 of 1944), is hereby amended by the deletion from the First Schedule of all matter contained in columns (2), (3) and (4) at reference number 32 (which relates to the suspension of customs duty on certain elastic stockings, socks and bands).

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall come into operation on the 4th day of April, 1950.
