S.I. No. 7 of 1950.

CORK COUNTY BOROUGH (EXTENSION OF PLANNING DISTRICT) ORDER, 1950.

WHEREAS the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Cork by resolution dated the 14th day of September, 1948, applied to the Minister for Local Government (in this Order called " the Minister ") for an Order under Section 21 of the Town and Regional Planning Act, 1934 (in this Order called " the Act ") declaring that the portion of the County Health District of Cork specified in the Schedule to this Order, contiguous to the said County Borough (hereinafter called " the contiguous area ") should for all the purposes of the Act (save as is by the said Section 21 otherwise provided) be added to and form part of the planning district which consists of the said County Borough :

AND WHEREAS the Minister has given to the Council of the County of Cork, being the Council of the County in which the contiguous area is situate, one month's notice of his intention to make this Order and has considered any representations that have been made to him by the said Council within such month.

AND WHEREAS the Minister is satisfied that the development of the contiguous area should be co-ordinated with the development of the said planning district of the County Borough of Cork:

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 21 of the Act and of all other powers in this behalf enabling him, hereby declares and orders as follows:—

(1) on and from the 16th day of January, 1950, the contiguous area shall for all the purposes of the Act (save as is by Section 21 of the Act otherwise provided) be added to and form part of the planning district which consists of the County Borough of Cork.

(2) This Order may be cited as the Cork County Borough (Extension of Planning District) Order, 1950.

SCHEDULE.

Description of Contiguous Area.

The portion of the County Health District of Cork which is comprised in the District Electoral Divisions (as constituted at the date of this Order) of St. Mary's, Bishopstown, Douglas and Blackrock.
