MINISTER FOR EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (AGENCY) (No. 3) ORDER, 1949.

WHEREAS SEÁN MACBRIDE, Minister for External Affairs, will, on account of absence from the State, be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office for a period commencing on the 18th day of December, 1949.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for External Affairs (Agency) (No. 3) Order, 1949.

2. NOEL C. BROWNE, Minister for Health, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for External Affairs during the period commencing on the 18th day of December, 1949, and ending on the date on which the said SEÁN MACBRIDE returns to the State.
