EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 282) ORDER, 1943 (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1949.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1949.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 2nd day of January, 1950.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), shall cease to apply to bed-sheets.

3. The Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), is hereby amended by the deletion of the matter at reference number 22 in the First Schedule thereto.
