WIRELESS (RECEIVING LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1949.

I, JAMES EVERETT, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 6 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1926 (No. 45 of 1926) and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do hereby by this Order make the following Regulations, that is to say :—

1.—(1) This Order and Regulations hereby made may be cited as the Wireless (Receiving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1949.

(2) This Order and Regulations hereby made shall come into operation on the first day of December, 1949.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3.—(1) Paragraph (1) of Regulation 5 of the Wireless (Receiving Licences) Regulations, 1937 (Statutory Rules and Orders, 1937, No. 261) is hereby amended by the deletion of the words "Money Order."

(2) Paragraph (1) of Regulation 6 of the said Regulations is hereby amended by the deletion of the words " Money Order " in the third line.
