LOCAL AUTHORITIES (OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES) ACT, 1926 (REVOCATION OF DECLARATION) ORDER, 1949.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by subsection (1) of Section 4 of the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) (Amendment) Act, 1940, with the concurrence of the Local Appointments Commissioners, hereby orders as follows :—

1. The Order made by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health on the 22nd day of October, 1929, declaring the office of rate inspector under a local authority to be an office to which the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) Act, 1926 , applies is hereby revoked.

2. Paragraph (c) of Article 2 of the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) Act, 1926 (Application to Specified Offices) Order, 1947 (which applies the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) Act, 1926 , to certain offices of storekeeper under a local authority) is hereby revoked.

3. This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Officers and Employees) Act, 1926 (Revocation of Declaration) Order, 1949.
