EMERGENCY POWERS (TALLOWS AND GREASES) (MAXIMUM PRICES) ORDER, 1944 (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1949.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 , (No. 22 of 1946) as amended by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (Continuance) Act, 1948 (No. 18 of 1948)) and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling hereby orders as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Tallows and Greases) (Maximum Prices) Order, 1944 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1949.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of January, 1949.

2. The Emergency Powers (Tallows and Greases) (Maximum Prices) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 60 of 1944) is hereby amended by the deletion of the figure " 50/- " from Article 3 (b) (ii) thereof and the substitution therefor of the figure " 57/-."
