CUSTOMS DUTIES (MISCELLANEOUS SUSPENSIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1948 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1949.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) (No. 2) Order, 1948 (Amendment) Order, 1949.

2. The Customs Duties (Miscellaneous Suspensions) (No. 2) Order, 1948, shall have effect as if it substituted " the 7th day of January, 1949 " for " the 30th day of September, 1948 " in Article 2 of the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1943), in relation to the suspension of the operation of the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 193) Order, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 190 of 1939 ).
