EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 157) ORDER, 1942 (SEVENTH AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows—

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Seventh Amendment) Order, 1948.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 96 of 1942), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 157) Order, 1942 (Second Amendment) Order, 1944 (S. R. & O. No. 183 of 1944), shall have effect as if, in the third column of the Schedule at reference number 6, the sign and figures " £8,000,000 " were substituted for the sign and figures " £2,000,000."
