KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL (ASSISTANCE TO HARBOUR AUTHORITY) ORDER, 1948.

WHEREAS on the 28th day of January, 1948, the Council of the County of Kerry (hereinafter called " the Council ") passed a resolution (hereinafter called " the resolution ") under subsection (1) of section 7 of the Harbours Act, 1947 (hereinafter called " the Act ") to assist the Tralee and Fenit Harbour Commissioners (hereinafter called " the Commissioners ") by remitting in whole the debt due by the Commissioners to the Council in respect of a mortgage dated the 9th day of March, 1883, and a judgment obtained in 1919 against the Commissioners for money paid in respect of a loan raised by the Commissioners the repayment of which was guaranteed by the Grand Jury for the County of Kerry :

AND WHEREAS the Council has complied with paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section 7 of the act :

AND WHEREAS the Council confirmed the resolution by a further resolution passed on the 15th day of April, 1948 :

NOW THEREFORE the Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (4) of section 7 of the act hereby orders as follows :—

1. The resolution is hereby confirmed.

2. This Order may be cited as the Kerry County Council (Assistance to Harbour Authority) Order, 1948.
