EMERGENCY POWERS (BUTTER) (LICENSING OF WHOLESALERS AND RETAILERS) ORDER, 1943 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1948. | ||
I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Butter) (Licensing of Wholesalers and Retailers) Order, 1943 (Amendment) Order, 1948. 2. In this Order— | ||
the word " creamery " means premises registered in the Register of Creameries kept under the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924), or in premises the subject of a license under section 42 of that Act ; | ||
the expression " creamery butter " means butter which has been manufactured in a creamery, including any such butter which has been reworked or blended ; | ||
the expression " non-creamery butter " means butter other than creamery butter. 3. (1) The Emergency Powers (Butter) (Licensing of Wholesalers and Retailers) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 196 of 1943), shall cease to apply in relation to non-creamery butter. | ||
(2) For the purpose of giving effect to the foregoing paragraph of this Article— | ||
(i) Article 11 of the Emergency Powers (Butter) (Licensing of Wholesalers and Retailers) Order, 1943, is hereby revoked, | ||
(ii) references to butter in that Order shall be construed as references to creamery butter. | ||
