EMERGENCY POWERS (CONTROL OF EXPORT) (AMENDMENT) (No. 28) ORDER, 1948.

I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939) as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942, (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) (Amendment) (No. 28) Order, 1948.

2. (1) The Schedule to the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) Order, 1940, (S. R. & O. No. 149 of 1940), is hereby amended by the deletion of "horses (including all equine animals other than mules, jennets and donkeys) " inserted therein by the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) (Amendment) (No. 16) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 249 of 1942), and the said Orders shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1948.
