HAIRDRESSING SHOPS (HOURS OF TRADING ON WEEKDAYS) (COUNTY BOROUGH OF LIMERICK) ORDER, 1948.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 25 of the Shops (Hours of Trading) Act, 1938 (No. 3 of 1938), and after due compliance with subsection (1) of section 4 of the said Act, hereby orders as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Hairdressing Shops (Hours of Trading on Weekdays) (County Borough of Limerick) Order, 1948.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of January, 1948.

2. The County Borough of Limerick shall be a trading area for the purpose of this Order.

3. In this Order the expression " shop to which this Order applies " means any shop, situate in the trading area for the purposes of this Order, in which there is carried on the business of hairdressing, whether any other business is or is not carried on in the shop.

4. The proprietor of a shop to which this Order applies shall not open or keep open the shop for the serving of customers—

(a) on any weekday (other than Saturday, the eve of Christmas Day or the eve of St. Patrick's Day), before the hour of 9 a.m. or after the hour of 7.30 p.m.

(b) on any Saturday, the eve of Christmas Day or the eve of St, Patrick's Day, before the hour of 9 a.m. or after the hour of 9 p.m.
