WILD BIRDS (COUNTY TIPPERARY, SOUTH RIDING) ORDER, 1948.

WHEREAS the County Manager of the Administrative County of Tipperary, South Riding, has applied to the Minister for Justice for an order prohibiting the taking or destroying in the County Tipperary, South Riding, of the eggs of any wild bird because of the usefulness of wild birds to agriculture :

NOW, I, SEÁN MAC EOIN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby, because of usefulness of wild birds to agriculture, order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds (County Tipperary, South Riding) Order, 1948.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. (1) No person shall take or destroy in the County of Tipperary, South Riding, the eggs of any wild bird.

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall not apply to the eggs of any wild bird which are already prohibited from being taken or destroyed under the Wild Birds (County Tipperary, South Riding) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 107 of 1934 ).
