CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (SHIP REPAIRING INDUSTRY, DUBLIN) (EXCLUSION) ORDER, 1947.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 29 of the Conditions of Employment Act, 1936 (No. 2 of 1936), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, and having first consulted with representatives of employers and workers, hereby orders as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Conditions of Employment (Ship Repairing Industry, Dublin) (Exclusion) Order, 1947.

2. The form of industrial work specified in the Schedule to these regulations and carried on in the County Borough of Dublin is hereby declared to be excluded industrial work for the purposes of sections 32 , 38 , 41 , 42 and 49 of the Conditions of Employment Act, 1936 (No. 2 of 1936).

3. These regulations shall come into operation on the 14th day of May, 1947.

SCHEDULE.

Work done for or in connection with repairs to any vessel, ship or sailing craft following damage to hull or damage to or breakdown of propelling or auxiliary machinery and any other work required to be carried out in a limited period to enable such vessel, ship or sailing craft to keep to her scheduled sailings.
