FLOUR AND BREAD (RATIONING) ORDER, 1946 (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1947.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 2) Order, 1947.

2. In this Order, the expression " the Principal Order " means the Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946, as amended by the Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946 (First Amendment) Order, 1947.

3. This Order shall be construed as one with the Principal Order.

4. This Order is supplemental to the Principal Order.

5. For the purposes of the Principal Order—

(a) the supplementary registration pages applicable to the first ration period shall be those entitled " Supplementary Registration Page for Flour or Bread " and containing coupons marked with the letters and numbers specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Order,

(b) each such coupon shall be valid only for the ration week commencing on the appropriate date set out in the second column of that Schedule,

(c) page 42 of a general ration book shall be a flour confectionery page,

(d) each coupon forming part of the said page 42 shall be a flour confectionery coupon, but shall be valid only for any ration week in the first ration period,

(e) the exchange value of a flour confectionery coupon shall be ½ lb. of flour confectionery.

6. Article 5 of the Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 1) Order, 1946 ( S. R. & O. No. 389 of 1946 ), is hereby amended—

(I) by the insertion at the end of paragraph (c) of the words " which is not wheatmeal or which does not represent 100 per cent. of the wheat from which it is derived or2½ lbs. of flour which is wheatmeal or which represents 100 per cent. of the wheat from which it is derived,"

(II) by the insertion at the end of paragraph (e) of the words " which is not wheatmeal or which does not represent 100 per cent. of the wheat from which it is derived or 5 lbs. of flour which is wheatmeal or which represents 100 per cent. of the wheat from which it is derived."
