OLD AGE PENSIONS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1947.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1938, hereby makes the following regulations :—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Old Age Pensions (Amendment) Regulations, 1947.

(2) These Regulations shall be read as one with the Old Age Pensions Consolidated Regulations, 1922 (hereinafter referred to as " the Principal Regulations ") and may be collectively cited therewith as the Old Age Pensions Regulations, 1922 and 1947.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 , shall apply to these Regulations in the same manner as it applies to an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The references to the Revenue Commissioners contained in Articles 23 and 31 of the Principal Regulations shall be construed as references to the Minister for Social Welfare and the said Articles of the Principal Regulations shall be amended and have effect accordingly.
