MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1946 (SECTION 3) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1947.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946 (No. 38 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946 (Section 3) (Commencement) Order, 1947.

2. The 22nd day of January, 1947, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 3 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946 (No. 38 of 1946).
