LABOUR COURT (APPOINTMENT OF FIRST WORKERS' MEMBERS) REGULATIONS, 1946.

WHEREAS it is required to appoint the workers' members of the Labour Court in accordance with section 10 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (No. 26 of 1946) :

AND WHEREAS more than one organisation representative of trade unions of workers is in being, and the Minister for Industry and Commerce is of opinion that it is undesirable that the appointment should be made under subsection (4) of the said section 10 :

NOW I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by subsection (5) of section 10 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (No. 26 of 1946), hereby make the following regulations :

1. These regulations may be cited as the Labour Court (Appointment of First Workers' Members) Regulations, 1946.

2. The first appointment of workers' members of the Labour Court, instead of being made under subsection (4) of section 10 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (No. 26 of 1946), shall be made under subsection (5) of the said section 10.
