CATTLE (EXPORT PROHIBITION) ORDER, 1946.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 29 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934 (No. 42 of 1934), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Cattle (Export Prohibition) Order, 1946.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The export of cattle, otherwise than to Great Britain or Northern Ireland, is hereby prohibited.
