SEEDS (REGULATION OF IMPORT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1945.

The Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 2 of the Agricultural Products (Regulation of Import) Act, 1938 (No. 14 of 1938), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby, after consultation with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Industry and Commerce, orders as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Seeds (Regulation of Import) (Amendment) Order, 1945.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of January, 1945.

2. The Seeds (Regulation of Import) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O.) No. 347 of 1942) as amended by the Seeds (Regulation of Import) (Amendment) Order, 1943 ( S. R. & O. No. 176 of 1943 ), is hereby further amended by the deletion of all the items contained in the Schedule and the substitution therefor of the following items :

" Seeds of dwarf French or kidney beans.

Seeds of beet (including garden beet and sugar beet).

Seeds of broccoli.

Seeds of cabbage (including Savoy cabbage).

Seeds of carrot.

Seeds of cauliflower.

Seeds of kale (including borecole, hungry gap kale, marrow stem kale and thousand-headed kale).

Seeds of leek.

Seeds of lettuce.

Seeds of mangel (including sugar mangel).

Seeds of onion.

Seeds of parsnip.

Seeds of rape.

Seeds of turnip (including swede turnip.)"
